Case Submission

Please read carefully the following paragraphs before submitting case information:

The number of unsolved homicides in the United States is staggering. Sometimes victims may seem forgotten or even ignored. CrimeShadows.com was formed for that very reason. Unfortunately, we cannot present information about every single case. Instead, our focus is highlighting a few cases that we believe have a strong possibility of being solved. If your loved one is a victim of an unsolved homicide and the case meets our criteria and requirements, we will present the case on our website.

What to Expect

CrimeShadows.com is not an investigating agency. We do not have the authority to actively investigate the case in the manner of Law Enforcement or a Private Investigator. That is not what we do.

CrimeShadows.com presents as much useful information to the public as possible. We promote discussion and research of the case. We try to gather as much information as possible from site visitors and resources, both online and offline. The webmaster of this site, Chris Yarbrough, is an amatuer researcher who examines all of the possible angles and digs up as much information as possible to present on this website. Chris Yarbrough is well aquainted with many other amateur researchers, professional investigators, and other persons and agencies who may be able to provide their insight and knowledge. We are a voice that will not be silenced. We do whatever we can using the resources available to make sure that the victims highlighted on our site are not forgotten.

While our focus is on speaking for the victims presented here, we actively listen to family members and friends. We take into consideration the feelings of those left behind by these crimes. We respect the privacy wishes of family members regarding information that may not be public.

CrimeShadows.com believes that no one deserves to be murdered. We believe that all victims should receive justice. We will accept cases involving victims from almost all walks of life. We understand that humans are not perfect creatures, and sometimes people make bad choices and associate with the "wrong" people. This is does not mean that these victims do not deserve justice. CrimeShadows.com will make every effort to ensure that all of the victims presented here are treated with dignity and respect.

CrimeShadows.com accepts cases from people of all races, genders, and ethnic and/or religious backgrounds. We do not discriminate based on a person's sexual orientation, political beliefs, or lifestyle.

CrimeShadows.com believes that by showing that these victims were real people, with real emotions, and real lives, we can keep these victims alvie in the hearts of our site visitors. We do not want these victims to become statistics. We do not want them to be forgotten. We encourage loved ones to send family photographs, poetry, or any other items that may be presented to the public to help display the humanity that was taken by these heartless criminals.
