Sketch
The two bodies, a male and a female, were discovered on April 9, 1995. It is estimated that the victims were shot and killed on or around March 18, 1995, 3 weeks prior to their discovery. After being shot, the victims were dragged about 40 feet into the woods and positioned next to each other, head-to-toe. Additionally, the bodies were located approximately 50 yards west of an active Union Pacific Railway track (the Missouri-Kansas-Texas aka MKT), which runs north and south and about one-half mile from the entrance of Crowder Point*, a Lake Eufaula public campsite.

Crowder Point Area
The male victim was shot once in the chest and the female victim was shot twice in the chest. Ballistic examination on the projectiles retrieved from the victims determined that they were consistent with a .38-caliber or a .357-caliber bullet and displayed rifling characteristics of a Smith and Wesson or a Ruger model revolver. The male victim's left rear jean pants pocket was cut open, and he wore a watch with a Le Watch leather band. No identifying information was found on the victims or in the area of the crime scene. It is unknown if the victims rode the railway transportation system, were hitchhiking, or drove an automobile. The victims may have been married; they wore matching wedding bands.
The watch was set 1 hour behind Oklahoma time, which is central standard time. That indicates the decedents were probably coming from or going to an area under Mountain Standard time. (These areas would include El Paso and Hudspeth counties in west Texas, Wallace, Sherman, Greeley and Hamilton counties in Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.)
The male victim is described as an 18-to 25-years old Caucasian with brown hair. He was 5'6" to 5'9" in height and weighed 175 to 185 pounds. He had short hair and wore a turquoise, possibly "Ocean Pacific" t-shirt; a black long-sleeve jacket; light blue Levi jeans with a black belt, size 31 waist/34 length; dark color bikini shorts with a geometric design; 14 karat gold wedding band which matched the rings of a female victim who also was found; and a watch with a "Le Watch" leather band. He had the following tattoos: an "R" on the back of his left forearm; an eyeball with a teardrop on the back of his right forearm; and a cross on the front of his left upper arm (bicep).

Tattoos of Male Victim
The female is described as an 18-to 25-years old Caucasian with blonde or frosted hair. She was 5'4" to 5'6" in height and weighed 130 to 140 pounds She had shoulder length, wavy hair. She wore a red Lassen Sportswear shirt with one front pocket; blue jeans, size 10; white bra, 38-D; panties which were large and not consistent with the blue jeans size; a two-piece wedding band set with a small diamond, which matched the wedding band of a male victim who also was found; and a "Le Watch" with a brown leather band. She had only one tooth filling.
